H – Helping others through ministry.
E – Exalting Christ through worship.
A – Affirming others through fellowship.
R – Reaching others through evangelism.
T – Teaching believers through discipleship

Our Mission
To present God’s Heart to the Babies, Children, and Youth of Columbia Baptist Church, by providing them with a Safe, Family Basedand God Centered  ministry, not only reaching them with the  Gospel of Christ but showing them how it can be applied to their lives.

We are always in need of good,  Christian volunteers with a heart for children!

Then he said to the crowd,

“If any of you wants to be my follower,

you must give up your own way,

take up your cross daily,
and follow me.
 Men’s Ministry
Our desire is to reach out to the men in our community through specially designed events that we believe will be engaging, and encouraging. Through these fellowships we hope to create lasting relationships which earn us the opportunity to equip and edify the men of CBC and Columbia.
Women’s Ministry
A large part of our Women’s Ministry at Columbia Baptist Church is Women On  Mission (WOM).  Our goal is to enable every member of the church to learn about missions, become involved in missions, and live a missional lifestyle.  WOM frequently spearheads Operation Christmas Child, Angel Tree, and other ministries, as well as promoting the Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, and Eliza Broadus Offerings. WOM meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm in the Zion Room.

The Women’s Jail Ministry is a very important part of the CBC ministries. A group of ladies go to the Adair Co. jail each Thursday for devotions with the ladies. We also provide them with Discovery Bibles.  These Bibles are specifically designed for all who have addictions. They have become very helpful to the ladies in jail.  May CBC continue to value this outreach as we strive to provide spiritual guidance.

I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
